Palomar™ Frational Laser 1540
The Palomar Lux1540 Fractional™ laser is the latest generation in skin resurfacing technology. The Palomar™ laser smoothes fine lines and wrinkles and improves skin discoloration. It also offers mild skin tightening without the downtime and healing associated with other skin resurfacing technologies.
The Palomar™ targets aging and sun damaged skin by zeroing in on damaged tissue. The laser creates an array of beams and each beam penetrates into the dermis, far below the outer most epidermal layer of skin. When the beam penetrates deep into the dermis layer of skin, it eliminates the old epidermal pigmented cells. Surrounding each of these beams is healthy, unaffected tissue. The healthy, surrounding tissue triggers the body's natural healing process, accelerating the production of collagen and the formation of new, tighter tissue to replaces the skin's imperfections.
In addition to this latest technology, we continue to offer skin resurfacing utilizing the CO2 and Erbium laser.

Candela Vbeam
The Candela Vbeam pulsed dye laser is the gold standard treatment of vascular lesions as well as a treatment modality used to manage acne, warts, and actinic keratoses (pre-cancer). The Vbeam treats all skin types quickly, comfortably and effectively, and features Candela's patented cryogen cooling system. This cooling system delivers a more comfortable experience for the patient.
The Vbeam delivers laser energy to targeted blood vessels over longer periods of time. This results in a more gentle heating effect and uniform coagulation. By heating targeted vessels more gently, the treatment eliminates postoperative purpura, or bruising.
Actinic keratoses and precancerous lesions are dry, scaly, rough-textured patches or lesions that form on the outermost layer of the skin after years of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, such as sunlight. Vbeam combined with Levulan target these lesions.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems. A gentle stream of tiny particles exfoliates the outer layer of skin and provides a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. The particles scrape away the surface layer of aging or damaged skin, which is then brushed off with the microdermabrasion vacuum tool with no need for anesthesia. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, and hands can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures such as laser treatment or chemical peels. Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.
*Please note we have CO2 and Erbium lasers that are used for ablative skin resurfacing and Erbium peels.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is the latest technique in photofacial. It works by delivering high intensity pulses of light to the skin to rejuvenate your complexion. The IPL system also promotes new collagen growth for smoother, healthier skin. It is effective at treating brown or age spots, facial spider veins, rosacea, skin pigmentation and superficial wrinkles. It is virtually painless and requires no recovery time.

Palomar Q-YAG 5™
The Palomar Q-YAG 5™ System is a high-powered laser designed to remove unwanted tattoos and pigmented lesions (sunspots, freckles, etc.) A highly focused beam of laser light passes safely through the epidermis and is absorbed primarily by the tattoo ink or the excess pigment within the lesion. Absorbed light is converted to heat and the rapid rise in temperature within the treatment area fractures the ink or pigment into tiny particles which are carried away by the lymphatic system.
The amount of treatments for unwanted tattoos vary based on the color, depth and the chemical composition of the ink. A wide range of pigmented lesions may be treated including freckles, sunspots, and many brown-colored birthmarks. The procedure causes relatively little discomfort and side effects are rare.
